Things are heating up for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. The two were recently spotted spending time together after Swift returned from the European leg of her tour. Epoch tourAnd now, as the NFL season approaches, Kelce, 34, continues to show his love to Swift, 34.
Prior to the NFL season, several Kansas City Chiefs players, including Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, Justin Reid and Harrison Butker, participated in a panel moderated by announcer Mitch Holthus on Wednesday, August 28. During the conversation, Kelce offered some words of appreciation to Holthus, saying on behalf of his teammates, “We love you.”
Holthus then asked if Kelce would “love him more than Taylor,” to which Kelce replied, “Maybe not.”
Finally, the couple has shown their love for each other in a pretty celebratory way. Earlier this week, Kelce bought shares in a racehorse named Swift Delivery, which Swifties immediately took as a nod to the singer.
In the course of Epoch tourSwift wore the Chiefs’ colors on stage, along with earrings and a bracelet with her and Kelce’s initials. She also changed the lyrics of one of her songs to make her ode to goodness, “Karma,” a reference to Kelce.
These days, it’s hard to hear either name without the other. Earlier this week, Kelce gave a speech at the Kansas City Sports Awards, where his appearance drew mixed reactions. Many fans attributed the look to his time with Swift.
Kelce also noted that night that the key to a fulfilling career in sports is to be “curious and adventurous in different career fields, knowing that football will soon be over for everyone.” Of course, many Swifties believe that Swift was the one who encouraged Kelce to explore other avenues, such as television and film, especially given that Kelce has many big-screen projects in the pipeline.
