Enjoy live music all Labor Day weekend
Come to Crowne Plaza from Friday, August 30th to Sunday, September 1st to experience the Labor Day weekend live music extravaganza.
Visitors can enjoy a weekend of live music from the Eddie Smith Band, the La Tran-K Band and Petty Betty.
The Eddie Smith Band plays at the Friday event from 7-10 p.m.; the La Tran-K Band plays at the Saturday show from 8 p.m. to midnight; Petty Betty plays on Sunday from 7-10 p.m. Admission is free for live poolside music on Fridays and Sundays. Saturday tickets are available online for $25 or at the door for $30. Guests also have the option to turn this weekend into a vacation at home. Adopt a pet on Friday
Join Mid City Beer Garden on Friday, August 30th for the Companion Animal Alliance Adoption Event at Mid City Beer Garden.
Dogs are available for adoption and fostering that guests can cuddle, pet, and maybe even take home. All CAA pets brought in are already spayed or neutered and are available for a waived adoption fee.

Laser, listen to Taylor Swift on Friday
Experience Taylor Swift like never before on Friday, August 30th at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum at the Laser Taylor Swift Singalong.
The playlist includes fan favorites like “Our Song,” “You Belong With Me,” “Enchanted,” and more. Visitors can purchase locally made Swiftie items from Cora B. x Baubles by Bella Bella.
Laser Taylor Swift Singalong takes place at 5:00 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. VIP tickets are sold out, but general admission is $15. The Louisiana Art & Science Museum is located at 100 S. River Road and the show is at the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium. For more information, click here. Here.

Visit the Electric Depot on Saturday, August 31st for the local monthly pop-up market.
Visitors can participate in the fall book swap with Red Stick Reads, enjoy live music from Baton Rouge Music Studios at 5 p.m., and have a caricature created by artist Keith “Cartoonman” Douglas.

Visit Eagles Nest Antiques in Denham Springs on Saturday, August 31st for their August pop-up tent sale.
Customers can spend a day treasure hunting and purchasing unique finds at the vendor tent. This event is an exciting outdoor experience with antiques, collectibles and handcrafted items for all visitors.
