According to new data from Bookies.com, the average cost of attending a professional football game for a family of four has increased 20 percent year-on-year to about $808.20.
One factor contributing to the rising ticket prices? Beer prices. Bookies.com reached out to the outlets at each NFL stadium and consulted local sources to determine preseason pricing tables. Are you rooting for the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium? Then wish your wallet luck this season, as a 16-ounce beer is expected to cost fans a whopping $16.49. Things aren’t much better for Las Vegas Raiders fans – a beer at Allegiant Stadium will cost an impressive $14.99. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers round out the top three teams with the most expensive beers in football, with fans paying $14.25.
At the other end of the spectrum, Cincinnati Bengals fans are in luck – 16 ounces of beer will set you back just $6.80, while visitors to Cleveland Browns Stadium will have to pay a little more at $7.15. Visitors to Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions, can enjoy the third cheapest beer in football: a pint costs about $7.20.
