Rumors that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift was planned began to swirl after an alleged contract with a specific date for the relationship to end appeared online.
A document from Los Angeles-based PR agency Full Scope PR circulated on social media – first on Reddit – and gave Kelce and Swift’s separation date as September 28. It also appeared to include a plan for how to handle reactions to the split, including allowing “the initial media hype to die down and provide clarity.”
According to the Daily Mail, Kelce’s representatives have denied any plans to split from Swift this month.

A Full Scope spokesman told the Daily Mail that the document was “completely false and fabricated and was not created, issued or authorized by this agency.”
“We have instructed our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or companies responsible for the unlawful and damaging forgery of documents,” Full Scope added.
Full Scope PR, one of Kelce’s agents, Michael Simon, and A&A Management, a group that also represents him, did not respond to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were afraid he would drop them on stage during their debut on the Eras tour
The document in question contains three core messages: “Respect and Privacy,” “Professional Focus,” and “Personal Growth.” There is also an example of a public statement that reads, “After careful consideration, Travis and Taylor have decided to go their separate ways. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time.”
The statement will be sent to major media outlets “to ensure widespread coverage.”
Regarding “respect and privacy,” the documents explicitly emphasize “that the separation was a mutual decision made with mutual respect for each other’s private lives.”
As for the “personal growth,” the PR firm reportedly wants to portray the separation as “a natural part of life and an opportunity for personal development.”
“Share how Kelce focuses on personal development, self-improvement and resilience,” the document states.
On another page, the document also lists media interviews with various sports and lifestyle media outlets, focusing on “Kelce’s recent athletic achievements and future goals,” while emphasizing “his respect for Taylor Swift and the mutual decision to go their separate ways.”
Kelce and Swift confirmed their romance in September 2023, when Swift attended her first of many Chiefs games in Kansas City. They have been close ever since: Swift traveled from a tour date in Japan to Las Vegas to watch Kelce win the Super Bowl, and the star tight end has been spotted at numerous concerts around the world this offseason.
Kelce and the Chiefs begin their 2024 NFL regular season on Thursday with a home game against the Baltimore Ravens to kick off the new year.
