Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is a great teammate, even going so far as to block on a touchdown.
In a moment that likely sent a brief shock through Chiefs fans, Mahomes decided to join the offense of Kansas City running back Isiah Pacheco to ensure he had the support he needed to make it to the end zone.
As you probably know, Andy Reid probably doesn’t want his greatest quarterback of all time helping block on a touchdown run, even if Mahomes technically stays on his feet and helps Pacheco go forward and score a touchdown.
However, if any NFL player ever feels that blocking is beneath him, watch the three-time Super Bowl winner sacrifice one for his team here.
