Patricia “Darlene” Yarborough Lineberry, 73, of Cameron, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 3, 2024.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Vass. Pastor John Brown will officiate. A viewing will follow immediately following the service.
Darlene was born on March 24, 1951 in Lee County to the late David Howard and Essie Mae Thomas Yarborough. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lucille Pilson and Janet Faye Mills, and her brother, Garner Lee Yarborough.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Michael “Mike” Anthony Lineberry; her sons, Fred Ray Ring, Jr. (Mindy) of Cameron and Jesse Martin Ring (Misty) of Jackson Springs; her stepson, Chris Lineberry (Faye) of Vass; her stepdaughter, Robin Lineberry (Bradley) of Vass; her sisters, Peggy Joyce Ayers of Sanford, Margaret Kaye Smith of Cameron and Sue Y. Locklear of West End; her brothers, David Howard Yarborough, Jr. of Cameron and Lonnie Dale Yarborough of Cameron; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
