Fiancée Debbie Gwyther
Debbie is Liam’s most recent relationship. The 40-year-old, who is 11 years younger than Liam, met her girlfriend when she became his press secretary in 2013.
The couple only started dating in 2014 after Liam divorced singer Nicole Appleton. Their relationship grew stronger and During a holiday in Italy in 2019, Liam proposed to his lover.
When he spoke about his partner, MirrorLiam said sweetly: “She was like a breath of fresh air, man. She got me back on my feet right away.”
“She and I like to do the same things, like having a drink. We like to laugh.” I found my partner, I found my soul mate. It’s good because the kids love her, the boys love her.”
Liam also thanks Debbie for helping him get his life back on track. Speaking to Q, he said she “stepped in” and saved him and even encouraged him to exercise regularly.
The 51-year-old has also explained that his return to the music industry was thanks to his fiancée. In a 2019 documentary, he explained: “Debbie was the one. She’s the one who says, ‘Come on, you didn’t kill anyone, let’s get back into music.'”
Children
Liam’s first child, Molly, was born in 1998. Although Liam was married to actress Patsy Kensit at the time, he actually fathered Molly with singer Lisa Moorish. Because of this, Liam did not meet Molly until 2018.when she was 20, but since then the two have built a strong bond.
Molly has since changed her name to Molly Morrish-Gallagher on social media, where she appears as a model and influencer. To show their strong bond, Liam’s 2019 song Now that I have found you is supposedly about Molly.
A year after Molly’s birth, Liam and Patsy welcomed their son Lennon, named after the late Beatles rocker John Lennon. Lennon has become a successful model, appearing in campaigns for major brands such as Saint Laurent and Ami Paris, and was the face of Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
Lennon has also followed in his father’s footsteps musically and is the singer and guitarist of the punk band Automotion. The band is currently on a European tour.
Noel’s second son, Gene, was born in 2001. By this time, Liam had already divorced Patsy and was now in a relationship with Canadian singer Nicole Appleton, a member of the girl group All Saints.
Like his older brother, Gene was named after a music legend, although there are conflicting reports as to who his namesake is. Mom Nicole says she named her little one after Kiss frontman Gene Simmons, while Liam says his nickname was inspired by Gene Krupa, considered one of the most influential drummers of all time.
Like his father and older brother, Gene was bitten by the music bug and is part of the indie rock group Villanelle, a band that has opened for some of Liam’s solo gigs. Of his father’s reaction to his decision to become a musician, Gene told the Times: “When my father first came to see me, he said, ‘Come on, let’s see what you’re made of, because if you’re (expletive), you’re not playing.'”
Liam’s youngest child, Gemma, was born in 2013 and was also the result of an extramarital affair. Although he was married to Nicole, Liam began dating journalist Liza Ghorbani between 2011 and 2012.
Before meeting Molly in 2018, Liam said he had never met Gemma, despite supporting the family financially. It is unclear if Liam and Gemma are currently in a relationship.
