Shortly after Travis Kelce’s PR firm dropped a “completely false and fabricated” media plan to split from Taylor Swift, a source revealed We weekly that those close to the couple are hoping wedding bells ring soon. The insider spoke about Kelce and Swift’s future and how Swift plans her life when her Eras Tour ends on December 8.
Kelce and Swift “are so in love,” the source said. “(Their) friends are hoping an engagement is a sure thing in the future.”
Swift has not yet made any concrete plans for the weeks and months after her last concert in Vancouver. However, she is “working on what she wants to focus on after the tour,” the insider said. Understandably, she also values rest: “She is trying to take time for herself first and has not made any final decisions yet.”
Swift is taking a break from touring until October 18. During those weeks off, she plans to “spend quite a bit of time with Travis,” the source said, adding, “She’s really focused on getting back to some normalcy after the crazy touring in the next few months that she has off.”
Swift wrapped up the European leg of her Eras Tour on August 20. She returned to the U.S. and was photographed over the weekend of August 24 partying with friends, including Kelce, at her beach house in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.
Swift confirmed in June that her tour would end in December during her 100th Eras Tour show in Liverpool. She told the audience, “I think a lot of you are wondering, ‘How are you going to celebrate the 100th show?’ And for me, celebrating the 100th show means that this is the very first time that I’m owning up to myself and admitting that this tour is going to end in December, like that’s it. And that feels so far away, but on the other hand, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you guys made that so entertaining for us.”
She confirmed that the tour had become her life, telling the audience: “I think I used to have hobbies, but I don’t remember what they were because all I do when I’m not on stage is sit at home and think of clever acoustic song mashups and think about what you might want to hear, and when I’m not on stage I just dream of being on stage with you again.”
