Discover the Taylor Swift exhibition at the V&A Museum in London
Curator Kate Bailey explains Swift’s iconic fashion pieces from all eras on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum in South Kensington.
LONDON — Swifties can trace iconic fashion from Taylor Swift’s entire career at the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington. The free exhibition is a mile long and includes 13 displays: one for each of Swift’s 11 eras, one for her re-recordings and one featuring home videos.
“This is a very special creation,” says Kate Bailey, curator of the V&A Museum. “We will go through different chapters, different eras and different moments in Taylor’s career.”
Bailey admits that in the more than 20 years she has worked at the museum, she has never put together an exhibition like this one.
“She has managed to live through such extraordinary periods and creative peaks,” says Bailey.
The singer showcased a whole range of “Swift”-style dresses, ranging from her country roots to her latest era, “The Tortured Poets Department.” Follow the songbook trail in the video above and gallery below.
