This month, the sibling trio CAIN published their first book, I am so blessed (B&H Publishing), a lyric picture book based on their hit song of the same name. This book is filled with bright and playful illustrations of three characters, Tay-Tay Tangerine, Logo Lemon, and Maddie Melon, who spend their day singing their favorite truth: “I’m So Blessed.” In this story, each Fruit lover has a rough day. In each situation, they are reminded that God loves them, even in frustration and embarrassment. God’s children aren’t blessed because we have a good day—but because He loves His children every day! If children can still breathe, they can delight in and praise God’s blessings by singing the Fruit’s favorite truth: “I’m So Blessed!” To celebrate the book’s release, CAIN also released a special children’s version of the hit song with an adorable animated lyric video to accompany the picture book.
In this TCB exclusive, Taylor Cain Matz talks about the group’s children’s book, “I’m So Blessed,” and the writing/creation process. She shares an item on her bucket list to write a Bible study one day. Taylor gives insight into the group’s deluxe edition of Jesus Music, which was released earlier this summer, and the transformation of the tracks that breathed new life into this project. Taylor concludes by expressing his gratitude for CAIN’s recent Dove Award nominations and looking forward to the upcoming event.
