Meet the heroes of Elsie

• Elsie (Elsie Lovelock (@ElsieLovelock), Meet Elsie, Dr. Grey’s newest android creation. Designed as a new Guardian model, she wields technology perfected through her Arclight Core research. Armed and ready to save the world, Elsie is here to chew gum and kick butt!

• Andru (Alex Octopimp Gross (@Octopimp). Andru is the Proto-Guardian. He was created by Dr. Grey after the attack on Neotono. Andru is also a melee character with a customized selection of bladed weapons and power augmentations, ready to take on bots!

• Dr Grey (Terry Farrell (@4TerryFarrell) welcomes the incomparable Dr. Grey, Director of the Kai. Creator of the Arclight Core, the Android Guardians, and Andru and Elsie. She was pretty battered during the first attack on the city, but is determined to save the day!

• As he (Fiona Nova @FionaNova) – Guardian of the Forgemaster’s Caldero, master of stone, fire, and metal.

• Subscribe (Kellie Whisler @PokeKellz) – Guardian of Trishula’s Tundra. Master of the cold, sent to the tundras to scour the fields of robot graveyards and find clues as to why Ekis is falling apart.

• Yennifer (Ovilee May @OvileeMay) – A member of the Alpha Trio, Guardians of Circuit City. Yennifer is the driving force of the team and a skilled swordmaster.

• Megan (Ashley Roboto @AshleyRoboto) – A member of the Alpha Trio, guardians of Circuit City. Megan is the brains of the operation. Cool, calm.

Introducing the NPCs – your most important allies!

Elsie is not just about action, but also about strategy, and you will need the help of some quirky and important NPCs:

• Hebbi, the architect (Tamoor Hussain @tamoorh) – Hebbi restores parts of the wharf in exchange for the bolts you collect on your runs.

• Gordon, the cook (Alex Faciane @FacianeA) – Need a pick-me-up? Head to Gordon the chef who will whip up an excellent meal that will boost your skills on your next run.

• Remy, the Weaponsmith (Frazier Parez-Yadon @frazierperezyadon) – Meet Remy the Gunsmith and visit him to unlock new weapons and weapon-enhancing parts.

• Angel, the mystic (Phil Daddario @felixfaust) – Looking for a magical edge? Then look no further than Angel the Mystic! Visit Angel to unlock a wide variety of spells and abilities.

• Jacky, the safekeeper (Alexandria Rossi @BossLadyLives) – Jacky records all your past runs so you can check your progress.

• Tera, the Cafecito Lady (Rachel Morales @rachelcmorales_) – Be sure to visit Tera, the Cafecito Lady, and get a dose of grandma wisdom!

To Elsie

Elsie is a neo-retro, hyperkinetic, rogue-like action platformer filled with procedurally generated levels and an army of robots to blast through.

After an attack on the city of Neotoño, Dr. Grey seeks refuge in a beach bastion called Sapir Wharf.

Here she creates Elsie: an android whose mission is to uncover the mystery behind the attack and save the planet Ekis from the disasters that have befallen it.

Players must run, dive, and shoot their way through levels filled with dynamic enemies and thrilling boss battles, always executing perfectly timed, precise parries. In this roguelike rollercoaster, players will die and die and die again – but you’ll always get back on your feet to embrace the chaos.
