ABC’s guessing game about famous relatives Claim to fame concluded its third season on Wednesday and revealed the final famous family members of every player.
Throughout the reality competition – co-hosted by Franklin Jonas and Kevin Jonas – players’ identities were kept secret from fellow contestants, who were given only a few clues before one person’s identity was revealed each week after a guessing ceremony.
Below, you’ll find the key clues we’ve gathered about each contestant throughout the season, our own early predictions about their relatives, and who ended up taking home fame.

Adam

Status: Winner.
Biggest clues: Adam is related to a Grammy-winning singer who he says sounds just like him when he sings. The show suggests that the lightning bolt and lightbulb on the clue wall are his clues. He is not related to Dustin Hoffman or Owen Wilson. Adam claims that his relative once babysat Paula Abdul. Wine bottle clue: Two pencils, the smaller of which is crossed out + hair + star with “90” in the middle + singer + heart + baseball + “+” + “advertisement”
Our forecast: Not only did Adam not want people to call it a lightning strike, but he also gave it away himself, as the story of singer Michael Bolton babysitting young Abdul regularly makes the rounds.
Prominent relative revealed: Michael Bolton is Adam’s uncle.
Hud

Status: Eliminated because Adam correctly guessed his relative.
Biggest clues: Hud says his mother is a Grammy-winning singer, but one of these details isn’t right. Wine bottle clue: cherries + bomb + artist + owl with speech bubble (who) + pain/ache + needle and thread (sew/so) + thumbs up. Thinks the scarecrow clue is for his relative.
Our forecast: While some Claim to farmers choose to use pseudonyms on the show, Hud does not. And for those of us who are used to keeping an eye on celebrity spawns with unusual names – especially those who have previously made headlines for being accused of a crime – it was a surefire tip-off that this contestant is the son of Grammy-winning “Jack and Diane” singer John Mellencamp, named after the title character of Paul Newman’s 1963 film.
Prominent relative revealed: John Mellencamp is Hud’s father (and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Alumna Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is his sister).
Mackenzie

Status: Eliminated because Adam correctly guessed her relative.
Biggest clues: Mackenzie’s father is a singer who has neither a Tony nor Broadway experience. He has a goatee. Wine bottle clue: 6′ + number 6 + musical note with cowboy hat + owl with speech bubble (who) + winner/champion + monkey/gorilla face + house for sale + ice cube.
Our forecast: After doing a little Googling for singers with a daughter named Mackenzie, we quickly came across a story on our sister site PEOPLE that had the answer right in the headline: “Trace Adkins’ 5 Kids: All About Tarah, Sarah, Mackenzie, Brianna and Trinity.”
Prominent relative revealed: Trace Adkins is Mackenzie’s father.
Shane

Status: Eliminated because Mackenzie correctly guessed his relative.
Biggest clues: Shane says his cousin is an Oscar-winning actor, but one detail is a lie. He calls her an “icon in Hollywood” and claims he visited Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. He also brags about once having dinner with his sister and Elizabeth Taylor, who wore rhinestone-encrusted cowboy boots at the time. He says Michael Jackson is his sister’s godfather. Bottle Clue: Mackenzie gets Shane Clue: Mistletoe + Log/Wood “+” Eye “+” C + On-Shield + W/ + Italy + Crown + Safety Pin + Toilet Paper Roll.
Our forecast: It was Shane’s own godfather remark that put us on the path to understanding him. Among those whose godfather was Jackson, like Nicole Richie, is Prudence Brando, the granddaughter of the most famous Godfather of all: Marlon Brando, who we believe is Shane’s grandfather.
Prominent relative revealed: Marlon Brando is Shane’s grandfather.
Danny

Status: Eliminated because Mackenzie’s relative was guessed incorrectly.
Biggest clues: Danny says his uncle is a professional wrestler who won a Grammy, but one of those details is a lie. He says his relative “has bongos playing in his music all the time.” Wine bottle clue: Man on fire + Veni Vidi Vici + microphone on star + owl with speech bubble (who) + people falling + “j” placed low at the bottom.
Our forecast: This reference to J.Lo gave it all away. Shane is definitely related to Grammy-winning singer Jennifer Lopez, and Man under fire with Marc Anthony as the star.
Prominent relative revealed: Marc Anthony is Danny’s uncle. And Danny’s real name is Miguel.
Dedrick

Status: Eliminated because Adam’s relative was guessed incorrectly.
Biggest clues: Dedrick says his uncle is a singer who won Best Rock Song of the Year “more than once”, although the latter detail appears to be a lie. He may also have accidentally revealed that his last name is Jackson. In a later episode, he tells a story about how his famous uncle took him to the toy store in the middle of the night and that Charlie Sheen tried to give his uncle a sports car but he couldn’t drive. Not related to Little Richard. Wine Bottle Clue: Scarecrow + Owl Talking (who) + Man Walking Right + Circle with Two Arrows Going Backwards + Arrow Pointing Straight Through Half a Box + N + a Figure? – L + Runway.
Our forecast: Unless he’s a computer gaming genius, we’re assuming his mistake was unintentional and that his famous relative is Michael Jackson (and Janet and La Toya…).
Prominent relative revealed: Michael Jackson is Dedrick’s uncle. Dedrick’s real name is Sigmund Jackson and he is the son of Jackie Jackson.
Naomi

Status: Eliminated because Adam correctly guessed her relative.
Biggest clues: Naomi is related to someone who won the Young Artist Award. Her wine bottle clue contains the following emojis: bra + “T” + backpack + tiara + to/in + club + coffee with croissant (4 times).
Our forecast: Her reference to the wine bottle is a pretty surefire clue that she is related to a woman from the Brat Pack, who probably lived in The Breakfast Club, So we assume that Naomi is related to Molly Ringwald, who won the 1984 Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a Feature Film for You can only do that as an adult.
Prominent relative revealed: Molly Ringwald is Naomi’s cousin.
Miguel

Status: Eliminated because Dedrick’s relative was guessed incorrectly.
Biggest clues: Miguel (not his real name) is related to an Oscar-winning actor who he claims is lying about being his grandfather. He says he uses a fake name to “make people think I’m more Spanish than I actually am.” He is not related to Antonio Banderas.
Our forecast: N/A
Prominent relative revealed: Everything everywhere at once Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis is his aunt. (Also grandson of Some like it hot Star Tony Curtis.) And his real name is Raphael Curtis.
Gracie Lou

Status: Eliminated because Adam’s relative was guessed incorrectly.
Biggest clues: Gracie Lou says her uncle is an Emmy-winning musician, but the musician appears to be a lie – or at least not a country musician, as she reveals she is intentionally leaning on a country figure to scare others away. The duck on the clue wall is a clue for her relative.
Our forecast: N/A
Prominent relative revealed: Two and a half men Star Jon Cryer is Gracie Lou’s uncle.
Jill

Status: Eliminated because Miguel’s relative was guessed incorrectly.
Biggest clues: Jill said her grandfather was a celebrity.

Prominent relative revealed: Full house Star John Stamos is Jill’s uncle.
Bianca
