Caitlin Clark, a rookie guard for the Indiana Fever, scored the second triple-double of her young career at just the right time on Wednesday.
As the clock counted down to zero in the Fever’s 93-86 win over the Los Angeles Sparks, Clark was just one rebound away from achieving the second WNBA triple-double in rookie history.
Of course, Clark set the record back in July, doubling it with a last-second rebound that got the crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse going.
This is a remarkable accomplishment for Clark, as she is the first WNBA rookie ever to record not one, but two triple-doubles in a season.
