Brittany Mahomes enjoys time with her family.
On Wednesday, August 28, the 28-year-old former football player shared a video of her husband Patrick Mahomes, also 28, reading with their three-year-old daughter Sterling Skye.
“My heart,” she wrote over a boomerang on Instagram Stories showing the father-daughter duo lounging on a couch and reading a book together. Brittany added a teary-eyed emoji with a white heart and tagged the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.
Brittany’s post comes amid criticism she has received for allegedly liking an August 13 post by former President Donald Trump. The Kansas City Current owner later sent a message to those who criticized her alleged political stance.
On Monday, August 26, she reposted a message from another user on her Instagram stories that read, “Contrary to the tone of the world today… you can disagree with someone and still love them. You can have different views and still be kind.”
She captioned the message: “Read this again!”
Despite the recent controversy, Brittany continued to share family content from her summer on social media – including the recent news that her family would soon be expanding.
In addition to Sterling, Brittany and Patrick also have one-year-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III. And on July 12, the couple announced that they will soon be a family of five.
“Round three, here we come 🤍,” they wrote under an Instagram reel.

The following week, the family came together again for another social media announcement – this time to reveal the gender of baby No. 3.
On July 19, the Super Bowl winner and his wife shared a joint Instagram post announcing to the world that they are expecting another little girl soon.
They set the scene for the big reveal by playing a game of tic-tac-toe, winning by getting three pink Xs in a row. Pink smoke and matching confetti completed the moment, while Sterling proudly held a “Big Sister” flag.
