There is “no possibility” that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will cross paths at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, even if both attend the glamorous event.
Jolie’s film “Maria” and Pitt’s film “Wolfs” will both be shown at the Italian festival. While the pair are fighting over ownership of their vineyard and are still negotiating details of their divorce, the organizers of the Venice Film Festival have made sure that Jolie and Pitt do not have to come into contact with each other.
“Angelina will be there on the first day, Thursday the 29th, and then she’ll leave for Telluride with (‘Maria’ director) Pablo Larraín,” artistic director Alberto Barbera told Vanity Fair. “So Brad won’t arrive in Venice until Saturday. There’s no way they’ll meet at the Lido.”
Jolie was spotted in Venice on Thursday with her “Maria” co-star Pierfrancesco Favino. The “Maleficent” star wore a simple black dress for the occasion. The 49-year-old was also photographed in a brown evening dress with wide sleeves. Jolie wore her hair down for the occasion.

There is no chance that they will meet at the Lido.
Pitt and Jolie appear to be separated due to their ongoing divorce and the controversial legal battle over Château Miraval.
The former couple’s French winery has been making headlines since 2022 after Pitt sued Jolie, claiming her sale of the winery violated a contract between the former husband and wife.
The former couple bought a majority stake in Château Miraval in 2008 and spent time in the house throughout their relationship. The couple even married on the French vineyard in 2014, 10 years ago.

Jolie attempted to sell her company Nouvel to Tenute Del Mondo, a subsidiary of the Stoli Group, in 2021, effectively transferring her 50 percent ownership stake in Miraval. Pitt has fought that sale, claiming the move violated a contract between the two.
Meanwhile, Jolie’s company claimed Pitt was the mastermind of a “vindictive campaign” to “loot” the profitable company since she first filed for divorce in 2016.
Nouvel accused Pitt of “hijacking” Château Miraval and “wasting” the company’s assets on unnecessary renovation projects, including spending $1 million to renovate a swimming pool, according to court documents previously obtained by Fox News Digital.

Most recently, Jolie demanded that Pitt release third-party communications related to an airplane incident in 2016. Jolie and Pitt are said to have had a physical altercation on the plane and the actress filed for divorce shortly thereafter.
“Mr. Pitt has control over all the property the couple owned together, as well as the business, but he is demanding even more, suing Angelina for $67 million plus punitive damages,” Jolie’s attorney Paul Murphy said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “In doing so, Pitt has made it clear why he sought to punish and control Angelina by demanding a newly expanded non-disclosure agreement to cover his personal misconduct and abuse. These actions are central to this litigation.”
“We are not at all surprised that Mr. Pitt is afraid to release the documents that prove these facts,” the attorney continued. “While Angelina continues to urge Mr. Pitt to end the dispute and finally put the family on a clear path to healing, Angelina has no choice but to obtain the necessary evidence to disprove his allegations unless Mr. Pitt withdraws his lawsuit.”

However, a source familiar with Pitt’s response to Jolie’s inquiry told Fox News Digital that the winery’s lawsuit was a “simple business dispute.”
“This is clearly a business dispute, but unfortunately the other side has repeatedly introduced personal elements that have exposed the weaknesses of their case and complicated and drawn out the proceedings,” the source said.
