BEREA, Ohio – The Cleveland Browns have named Andrew Siciliano as live commentator for the University Hospitals Browns Radio Network.
A veteran television and radio host, Siciliano previously served as host of NFL Sunday Ticket Red Zone, which aired on DirecTV from 2005 through 2023, and host of NFL Total Access on NFL Network. He was also involved in coverage of the 2014, 2016 and 2024 Olympic Games and was the live commentator for Big Ten football on NBC in 2023. Most recently, he was the live commentator for the 2024 Los Angeles Rams preseason telecast.
Siciliano, a graduate of Syracuse University, will join three-time Super Bowl champion Je’Rod Cherry as sideline reporters along with Nathan Zegura, senior media broadcaster and Browns co-commentator. Live commentary can be heard on 92.3 The Fan, 98.5 WNCX, 850 ESPN Cleveland, The Cleveland Browns Radio Network, ClevelandBrowns.com and the Browns mobile app.
Jim Donovan, “The Voice of the Cleveland Browns,” announced last week that he is retiring from the Browns Radio Network to focus on his battle with cancer. Donovan was the Browns’ live commentator for 25 seasons (1999-23). Siciliano filled in for Donovan in three games last season.
“We were so honored to have Jim Donovan as the voice of the Cleveland Browns for 25 seasons, and we will miss him in the radio booth this year,” said Executive Vice President and Partner JW Johnson. “Last season we were able to bring in Andrew Siciliano for a number of games, and his passion for the Browns and this fan base is reflected in his commentary. We look forward to having his voice on the radio in the 2024 season, where he leads the Dawg Pound.”
“I am honored by this opportunity, but I wish the circumstances were different,” Siciliano said. “Like every Browns fan, I was stunned last week to learn of Jim’s retirement. I know I have big shoes to fill. Jim is an icon, an incredible man and an indelible part of this community. I am so grateful to Jim for his generous support last season when I worked a few games, and I will never forget sitting in the stands listening to his call when the Browns clinched the playoffs in Week 17.”
“I am one of millions of Browns fans who have experienced Jim’s calls over the last 25 years. When I was home, I synced the radio to the TV. When I was working, which I usually was, I scoured the Internet for Jim’s calls. No big game, no big play, no great moment would be complete without his voice. I am flattered and grateful to the Browns for giving me this incredible opportunity. It is a humbling honor. Jim is an icon.”
